As we predicted in our Speedy Tuesday article from January already, Omega introduces a new Snoopy Award Speedmaster. The Omega Speedmaster Professional Silver Snoopy Award is the 45th anniversary limited edition of the Apollo XIII mission from 1970. This is absolutely brilliant, ceramic bezel with lume, sterling silver snoopy caseback medallion and a Darkside style cloth strap though being a 42mm Speedmaster the normal Moonwatch bracelet will be a direct fit. 1970 pieces total production only, just over one third of the production of the original Snoopy which is in serious demand.

Well done, except for the text on the dial. What on earth where they thinking? Looks too much like a toy. But the lumed tacho ring is a killer!

Case back is brilliant so much detail for a cartoon dog 😜.
The dial I dont know, why did they put so many unneccesary words on it, we know it is linked to the history but those words should only appear inside the box instead

I like it. I am not a fan of snoopy, so this won't even make it on my want list. But they did a nice job on the design and lume. I could do without the text but I like the blocks they used for the 14 seconds. I think they should have left the text of in that area and hardcore fans would have figured out the meaning.
