This I like quite a lot, brings back memories of the 2627 and 2757 Seamaster Calendars which with their date at six were a relative oddity at the time. One of the annoying things about the older Aqua Terra was that there can be some difficulty in gripping the crown to pull it out to the winding or setting position, these new crowns appear to bloom outwards slightly which should make them a bit easier to grasp without having to wedge a credit card in there to pop it out as I've done on many occasion.

The dial stripes are now horizontal rather than vertical which will be a matter of preference but the new date window does appear to be more cleanly beveled and looks more "complete" I guess than the previous generation with date at three did after they removed the applied metal date window surround.

The silver with anodised blue dial furniture is my personal favourite, I just think that really pops brilliantly.

I quite like them to be honest. Will the case sizes be the same?

Here's the promotional video which highlights the new conical shaped crown among other things:

That silver dial is speaking to me::love::

I'm liking these a lot more than the previous models. The conical crown looks a little overly robust to me at first but it the more I look the more I like.

It's probably my favorite 8500 AT...but still no 2500 AT.

Crown I like. Symmetrica case and removal of integrated crown guards I like. The dial with the garage door (or vinyl siding on a house) look..no, and unfortunately that's the first thing that most people look at when they look at their watches.

Maybe I'm biased, but i prefer the verticle lines on my one rather than the new Horizontal design.
I feel Omega could have made the changes they did but leave the lines as they were.

On the new AQ´s in my opinion, Omega design has evolve, on the PO´s definitively involve with a paraphernalia of colors and effects to catch the viewer.
The AQ´s case is the loveliest aesthetically shaped of all Seamasters, for sure an easy task if we check the thickness of PO´s or straight lugs of the Trilogy…

    Anyone have pricing on this?

For me, the big pluses are the 38mm (just this model, I think...) and date wheel background sure seems to match dial color - that's awesome. I really don't like date windows, but this is actually tolerable. If the price on this is reasonable, I think it's a stunning entry point for newcomers and a fantastic daily beater.

I like them a lot -- especially the version with the orange seconds hand. I hope that will be available in the 38 mm size.

The Omega website states the white dials are 41 and the blue is 39.
But I would assume it will be offered in both sizes

From the pictures DSIO took the Aqua T looks like it's related to the globemaster a little bit. I like it a lot. And the white dialed pieces remind me of the 15,000 gauss a little.

And the prices seem reasonable as well.
