I’m curios why people are so hot for the Baltic vs the Meraud. Is it just the (fairly minor) styling differences? Or something more?

Damn ...You guys almost had me loosing my resolve. The price for these brought it back. Just realized I got the early bird special on my cream and black. Still a great deal but I'll hold out for their next release.

Thanks! Good write-up. Seems like it comes down to style details and preference of Swiss or Japanese movement. They pretty much stick with the watch comparison (not much on the brand comparison).

To me the case profile is a big difference.

Meraud is more modern tuna can:

Baltic has a sweet vintage style IMO

Must be a lot of demand for this watch as I tried to check the price online and their site is crashed.... Im assuming it couldnt handle all the traffic that was coming its way.

They can’t make them fast enough.. it’s one hell of a watch.

And its back! Oh man, I am so tempted to buy the blue gilt version. I have been collecting for an Omega diver and so far have enough put away to get the Baltic with both bands! But then I'll be set back on getting the SMP... Why counldnt the site just stay down?!

All of you Baltic owners out there, what kind of accuracy do you get? I know what the specifications call for but what's the real experience after someone has tweaked it?
