Balance Bridge Hairspring Reassembly Help: Tools and Method

The balance wheel assembly is broken. I proceeded to replace it with a new one. To open it, I adjusted the fine adjustment knob to release the hairspring. Now, when I try to reassemble it, it won't fit through the hairspring holder. Is there a method or toolkit to open this balance bridge assembly? Thank you very much.

Can't really help much.
If I had it in front of me I'd be able to figure it out but doing it via the internet with blurry photos, no way.

Hopefully an Eberhard guru will see it and be able to advise.
