Two months ago the stem came loose on my 5513. It’s still in the shop. I hope to get it back this week. Tonight I was setting my 1675 and “pop” I suspect the mainspring let go. Both of these have been such stalwarts, you almost forget they are old birds. Guess I’ll pick one up and hand one over. Oh well, comes with the territory I guess.
Ouch. When it rains it pours! I realized I had too many watches when I went two years without having the whole collection at home because at least one was always in for service. As you said, it comes with the territory.
