Same issue I seem to have with almost every one of my old Omega's - I can't get into view the movement. It looks like this is a back open snap case but I can not open the damn thing. I have asked this same question on other watches, so I am not asking the same question over and over at least not for the same watch. I seldom have this type of problem on any other brand watch and its starting to get to me. I live approx 100 from the nearest Omega Store and I do not even know if they repair anything - I know they sell Omega's but no more. I need help answering a few other questions. How much would it cost , approximately , to have a watch person replace and put on a new crystal? Can tiny scratches in the case be buffed down or would that take away from the value. Also does anyone know what it would cost to have the dial professionally cleaned or is it limited what they can do ?
