Want to thank Kringkily for sourcing this unworn 40th anniversary Speedy and for a smooth transaction. Being the nerd that I am I did the whole unboxing series. I immediately put it on a Hadley-Roma sailcloth strap so the bracelet remains unworn.

So am I. It looks like it is from Japan and spent its life in the safe. I felt a twinge as I took off the bracelet, put on the strap and put it on my wrist, but watches are meant to be worn and enjoyed. I'll just need to love it and care for it like it was a member of the family (at least a member that I like )
