Last week I found an nice, but far from perfect 145.022 with a band, so the madness may be returning...
I can't take it off, the older 1171/1 strap is so nice..

Yes, it's a bit large on my wrist, but I like it...
The seller mentioned that with my height and long sleeve office attire I can pull off a 42mm even though I’m damm thin.

I used to think that this model was too big for me, now I embrace the 42mm size...!!

    Cheers everyone...

Why are you saying 'back to the Omega club'..I think if you don't have an Omega you still can be an Omega fun..:)

    Great looking piece.

I’ll take that bracelet and bezel from you if you decide to leave the club.

    Looks great.
Somehow the Speedmaster fits almost all wrists without ever looking too small or large. Which is probably why they haven't changed the design over the past 50 years! :D
    Enjoy it!

I had better stay in the club this time as a lifetime member, as I’ve sold/traded a few nice watches with regret later on... !

Now that this 42m Omega classic but affordable watch has taken over my horological thinking..., the Rolex watches are back in the bank vault...!

Congrats! I understand the wrist size issue (I bet I have you beat) but the Speedy complements any wrist.

Much appreciated - others have told me that once you get accustomed to the 42m you never look back...
