Really enjoyed this video:

I didn't know the shared parts with earlier movements such as 100, 240, 330, 360, 470, I was mainly researching whether the train wheels are the same between 550's and 600's, which they seems to be

Admittedly I didn't pay attention to the base/prefix of the parts codes, nice to see that the 600 manual wind balance parts are the same as well while the balance cock is different

Barrels are not compatible but I've always wondered whether a 550 series watch could be converted to a handwind one with the auto bridge removed and using a manual mainspring, this was before I learned to love and started to admire the auto assembly though

This happens with all kinds of Omega movements. As I’ve mentioned many times before, the base caliber for the part is included in the part number, so it’s very easy to see where the part is from.

Some parts are used across a wide variety of movements...
