Availability of Planet Ocean 2500's

A friend of mine who has been through a hell of a year is looking for a watch to celebrate the end of the nonsense and as such said he quite fancied a PO. Liking the size of mine I've been working off the assumption he doesn't want something taller (no 8800/8900's then) so focused a scan of the market on 2500.

Herein lays my query....in the UK, where they all gone?

Throughout last year I could find a reasonable selection of 2500's, is it the time of year? Or, has lockdown has frozen the market? Is this happening in other common pieces?

They indeed are not as common as a few years back. I am talking about the 2201.50 and just happened to look for one the other day on watchrecon. There was only one (USA) that got my interest as it was the full set, something I prefer.
The one in your picture is a LMLE so I draw the conclusion your mate must be after the 42mm model. And you have got some healthy and happy looking dogs there.
BTW if your mate thinks we are at the end of the 'nonsense' (if you mean Corona) he better keeps his money in the pocket as we are not there by a long shot.
