Some words from fellow racer Tony Kanaan... https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/tony-kanaan-justin-wilson-indycar
Another shot of my MGA from this Sunday, thanks goes to the photographer @krotky_luke on instagram. What a fun day it was.
Stumbled upon this while pulling together a retrospective last week - my father on his first set of wheels, a 1925 Velocette.
That dude is a bad ass, guy on the bike is pretty cool too But for real that's a really cool picture.
Here’s something you don’t see everyday. I spotted this BMW Erlkönig (prototype) on the A3 Autobahn today Oh and a Delorean too
I had a look again at the video as it drove by and the camouflaged grill is ambiguous to say the least. Maybe the new 8 series coupé? http://www.auto.de/magazin/fotos/erlkoenig-bmw-8er-coupe/page-7/
https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/2019-bmw-8-series-pricing-msrp/ 8 series was fully revealed already in July and has different roof lines maybe.... It might me but they went to a lot of work to hide the hoffmeister kink if that’s a BMW and they left the grill. Almost looks like a 2 door KIA stinger... Might be the higher HP M8 rumored to be coming. Although tail pipes are wrong for an M... maybe an 8 hybrid.
My guess is it's an M8 mule in the standard body. Camo wrap is probably to hide a couple extra vents etc
Damn. Was just browsing through all the lots coming up for auction this weekend at the RMS being held at the Experience Center in Atlanta. https://rmsothebys.com/en/home/lots/po18#?SortBy=Default&SearchTerm=&Category=Automobiles&IncludeWithdrawnLots&Auction=PO18&OfferStatus=All availability&AuctionYear=&Model=Model&Make=Make&FeaturedOnly=false&StillForSaleOnly=false&Collection=All Lots&WithoutReserveOnly=false&page=1&pageSize=200 There are some seriously bad ass cars in there. I'm a big 964 guy, so if I had the cash and had to choose one one car to bid on, it's be the '92 Carrera RS with under 100km on the odometer.
Goodness me - that's two pages of exquisite temptation! I too especially like the late air cooled models - 964 and 993 - for their 'purity' yet practicality, and that example looks just marvellous in Guards, (though the colour rendition in the Sotheby's pics is a bit pinkish maybe?) Oh yes, you'd have thought for that sort of estimate the lot would include a nice subtle rear wing like this:
Hah, the 964 3.6 RS is one of the only RS's I'd take wing-less. Except the 991 GT3RS looks pretty good wing-less...
