This thread slipped into vintage so couldn't resist. One type of lowdrag E-Type: And another: And a lot of American muscle: Cheers, Chris
Just saw this in the Goodwood 2009 folder: A well known man (not just in Omega circles....) in a T-Bird: Ah well, not as expected.... Or is it his gold presentation model?
Wow!! I never imagined this thread would grow so much! Thanks for sharing, guys! Here we are working on an LP720-4!
Wow, this thread is heating up! I'm a vintage guy, whether watches or automobiles, and clean and understated is always my preference...
I could post a picture of a classic Vette (I prefer the classics) or a Porsche I wish I had not sold, but I figured I would be different so here is my Deuce. It doesn't see much road time but man is it fun when we get buried in snow....or to run to Lowes and grab some wood for a weekend project.
The license plate is sort of a giveaway! It is a 1978 AMC Concord Liftback (fastback), built in an era when Detroit (actually, this one was built in Kenosha, Wisconsin), was moving away from fastbacks. This is a one-owner car, one of 2,500 built of this body style, in the first year for Concord.
I added the canoe to improve the aerodynamics..... not surprisingly it didn't help. Tragic, but it gets me to work in the winter when its too crappy out for the bikes. note: the damn boat is longer than the car by almost three feet! Mmmmmmmm.... love that two-stroke stinkwheel smell!
