Not sure it's exceptionalism but got to be of interest.
Think I'd have the watch box in the engine bay and ice/drinks in the wheel wells though.

Tell me you’ve owned a few modern VW’s without telling me you’ve owned a few modern VW’s…
Truly exceptional.

I think Clause 2 will make a few reconsider their claim 😁.

If it applied here it would count me out on three of the six VWs we've had (still got one).

These are such a beautiful shape, definitely one of the many all time great Mercedes designs.

I saw an article just earlier today about the new 4-cylinder AMG GT43, which does have the rather fantastic 4-pot from the A45, but at the same time… when the hood is so long and purposeful only to have a little (albeit powerful) motor under it, it becomes a bit of a caricature of a sports car.

It would be like opening the hood on an entry-level E-Type Jag, only to find a BMC A-series and enough room to fit an LV Steamer Trunk in front of it.

Yeah guy, its "stock"
[/URL] lol
Prove me wrong now bitches!

Its crazy how "affordable" these are becoming. Seems like a lot of car for them money these are getting on Bring A Trailer.
(well, maybe not the GT-C, but GT and GT-S)
And for those who know, do those license plate frames REALLY get you out of trouble? lol

We had those here in OZ too, here they were a VW based kit car called the Purvis Eureka there were 683 kits sold from 74 to 91. I have no idea how many kits were finished

I found the Aussie version on FB marketplace.
80% finished. Blank canvas regarding sound system and grog & watch storage.
Plus you can cuddle on this one!

A lot of them ended up with Mazda 13B rotaries in them; less weight at the back and five times the power.

The P plater special bit is hilarious, when he says he doesn't know the condition of the diff, I can guess it's probably welded

Get the wife unit a Porsche for Christmas 😉💝🎁
Available in fridge, kettle, blender or toaster.

Q: Can you guess why I've never been married? 🥳

Or Porsche too German for you? Just add a little Italian design flair!

A: I'm going to blame "size matters" and continue pretending I've got a wonderful personality 😁
