Authenticity & conditions of this "awesome looking" Seamaster?

Hello guys, I'm new to this vintage Omega world. I've browsed through the online market places and have a brief overview of available listings. I've learned to know there are a lot of refinished dials, franken watches, etc.
However in local marketplace where I live, we are usually offered vintage watches in very good conditions. Pristine, I must say, like this one.
I would love very much to know what do you have to say about this watch: authenticity, conditions, expected price, etc.
    Thank you.

Looks to be authentic, but it's been severely overpolished.

Beautiful dial.......I've never seen an Omega case back that is signed on the left of the case back....quite interesting.

I found some information and old listings about this, which seems to be quite rare.

It also shows in the pictures of the listing above about the strange location of the Omega triangle.

And yes, I've learnt about that "over-polished" thing.
Does it hurt the value severely? To how much percentage?

Agree with @wsfarrell and @shaun hk - I'm afraid you are confusing "pristine" with "overpolished". That case back is pretty bad.

Not a really uncommon reference, quite common in steel or gold cap, less so in solid gold. Asking for value on a collector's forum is tricky, as few on here would pay a lot of money for a watch with a case like this. If it was sold to a non-collector, it would probably fetch quite a bit more, though it would likely take some time to find a buyer. Movement looks nice, crown has been replaced.

You are very interested in value? What is your interest in the watch, do you want to re-sell it?

I should have put "pristine" in " ", as I found it so strangely mint myself. Yes, now I see clearly the case back looks pretty bad.

I am not a collector. I'm just a watch lover, who likes to have a good piece of horology on my wrist.
Yet I'd like to understand the value of what I wear - not in money terms, but in history and horological significance..., even the drawbacks of them.
On that monetary value, I just try so as not to be ripped off.

Thank you very much. Very clear and helpful opinions.

Hi TNTwatch, I checked the case reference number, the movement serial number, and some other database I found. They seem to be match the year around 1960... Except the crown looks not so right.
I'm just new to this world. Pls enlighten me! Thank you.

Sorry, I was just too quick to read the calibre number as 552 instead of 562.

It's still a pretty watch that presents well to non vintage watch collectors.

Overpolished, yes. If you are ok with that, making a fair offer on it wouldn't be a terrible idea.

    Thank you all!
Yes, aside from the over-polished case, the watch is very beautiful. The look is classic and having a modern touch also.

I know it's not a good idea to discuss the price here. But since I assume very few of the members here are from Vietnam - where the watch is being listed, I hope that would not hurt anyone.
Do you guys think it's worth nearly $2000 - this 18k solid rose gold watch?

If it was not polished, it's worth maybe $1,300 max around here
