Hi my son has a Tag Heuer watch of his dads that’s been in the loft for years. It’s not in a good condition. It doesn’t work (could just be the battery), the clasp is broken and it’s covered in scratches. It has WK1211 on the back. Could anyone tell me if it’s a genuine Tag Heuer watch and if it would be worth getting it restored. Thank you.

Agree with @YY77, looks pretty fake to me. I'm not that familiar with Tag models but I don;t really need to be in this case.

    The telltales signs are:
    - Cheap looking date window (alignment) and font.
    - A second "date" on the bottom sub dial (usually a huge giveaway on cheap replicas due to movement used).
    - Steel looks very cheap, especially on the bracelet.
    - Hour numbers and markers look very cheap and nasty.
    - Dial looks cheap and nasty.

Sorry, looks like a dud :(.

It's an awful fake and not worth the cost of a new battery. WK1211 is a three hander.

Thank you, looks like it’s for the bin then.
