    Hi OF,

First of all I just wanted to say that as a newbie I'm extremely grateful for the words of advice offered from this splendid community. I appreciate all of your support.

As you may have seen from my previous posts, I'm looking to kick off my collection and I'm in the market for a 60's silver dial SMDV. I came across this '64, 560 Cal on eBay and was wondering if anyone could be as kind to verify it's authenticity/highlight what may be wrong about it?

Buyer claims dial and crown are original and NOS Omega crystal was installed when "serviced". I've requested some higher-res images but these were all that were supplied: IMG_6580.PNG IMG_6583.JPG IMG_6584.JPG IMG_6585.JPG IMG_6586.JPG IMG_6587.JPG

I thought you were going to be patient and hold out for a black dial?

After hearing from other OF members that black dial's are rare as hen's teeths I've had a change of heart. Anyways, I'm a big fan of the SMDV in stainless steel and keen to get the collection underway :)
