A forum member was kind enough to put me on the the Ranchero, I got a reply from the seller today answering all my question except the one regarding the dial ... Is this a redial or is this a very good original? Sorry for the photo it the best I can get .
    Thanks

I'm by no means an expert in redials - and there are a lot on these rancheros, but I think it's legit. aging looks consistent to me. I actually like the different coloured tips on the markers on these light dial ones.

I'm sure experts will be along soon.

tough to tell from the poor lighting, and thus poor color represenation in that picture, but the lume fill on the hands, specifically the hour hand looks very green, like it was re-lumed.

It always amazes me that people (especially dealers) sell items worth thousands of dollars with such terrible pictures.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but heres a similar one, however- I believe the picture of the one that I posted has changed hands and the whole thing might be a redial, what do people think? maybe its a good comparison, I happen to think yours is all original compared to this one. 11116708_455516711272358_384093235_n.jpg

Hands on that black one are a mess.

Probably a Seamaster refinished as a Ranchero.

Congrats to the OP, I'm looking forward to seeing some (much) better and deserved pics!

^Was this one had from 'the watch adviser' by chance?

Good news. I have the same hands and I was unsure whether the minute hand with the thin lume was legit. The lume color matches, the length is correct and I had seen other examples, but the wedge lume is more common so I wasn’t 100% sure.
