Authentic omega?

Hello! Watch newb needs some seasoned eyes on this vintage omega. It's far from pristine, but they are only asking 100ish for it. Thoughts on authenticity?

That is an early quartz Omega model. The button on the edge of the case is used to reset the time. A laborious task on these models. That, plus these were produced by the original Omega company, not Swatch/Omega, so it is likely 40 years old, or older. To the best of my knowledge, they are not repairable because of lack of parts! Look for other opinions, but I’d say you should avoid this model.

Yea these were produced in the dying days of the pre-Hayek Omega when the company was struggling to stay afloat, really not great watches.

If it’s working it’s worth $100 maybe yes. If it’s not it may be worth -$200.

What I mean is repairing these isn’t cheap or easy.
