Hi all My other watch forum doesn't have much experience with Omega Constellations so the advice was to head over here so hoping someone can help. I'm looking to by this ladies Omega Constellation, circa 1995. Cost is around US$400 but I think I should be able to get it cheaper. No photos of the internals, couldn’t even see how to open it actually. What do you think, real or fake? Cheers Shane
I doubt most of us will be much help as we're not very versed on lady's watches, but if that's a fake it's a damn good one.
The serial number is showing that exact model on the Omega Extranet, so with that matching and based on the photos, looks very legit to me. Cheers, Al
Just to close this out. I have bought the watch. Now to work out how to polish a very small two tone watch before I give it to the misses. Hmm, tricky. Might be a good excuse to buy the dremel polishing kit.
NO!! you will ruin the watch and it's value with that. You can clean the watch with a Q-tip lightly moistened with water or glass cleaner and then dry and hand buff with a dry jewelers polishing cloth. Others may recommend even more conservative protocols. Also do not bring it to a Jeweler for buffing
