For those who are genuinely interested, the bitcoin community has pretty much debunked this guy's claims. Also for what its worth, he wasn't revealed, he came out and said he was Satoshi. Semantics perhaps, but I think a distinction that bears mention.
I thought he showed he had the first Bitcoin transaction, and known bitcoin developers vouched for him.
The latter is certainly the case, but that's not proof. The former now appears not to be the case if you read the article that @kidkimura linked. Or, rather, it might be the case but what he produced doesn't actually prove it, contrary to this claims. Interesting story. Con man, genius, or possibly both?
My main issue is that, in spite of all the media coverage, I still only half understand how they work. It's fine though, my money is virtual enough already.
