It would be easy to prove, he would just have to move some coin from the original Bitcoin wallet.

The latter is certainly the case, but that's not proof. The former now appears not to be the case if you read the article that @kidkimura linked. Or, rather, it might be the case but what he produced doesn't actually prove it, contrary to this claims. Interesting story. Con man, genius, or possibly both?

Huh, what a loser, doesn't he know that people don't even carry cash any more?

I just got a slab of Fosters at the local bottleO and paid by waving my credit card over the little machine thingy.

No coins in my pockets mate.

My main issue is that, in spite of all the media coverage, I still only half understand how they work. It's fine though, my money is virtual enough already.

Sounds like he just couldn't be stuffed proving the haters wrong and wants out of the limelight
