Just some interesting science stuff. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/09/2...australia-continental-drift-location-gps.html
"Not to mention driverless cars. “If you’re 1.5 meters out,” Mr. Jaksa said, “you’re potentially on the wrong side of the road.”" They are all on the wrong side of the road!
Here we can talk and chew gum at the same time, so holding the wheel with the left hand while we shift is not a big ask. I actually have no issues doing it either way - it wasn't the shifting that was the problem, it was finding the rear view mirror...looking up and left was just not natural at all...
All those damn kangaroo,s jumping has to have some effect. Funny up my way there is no side of the road. Among the worst roads in the world but no speed limits NT road networks on par with the world’s poorest nations http://www.news.com.au/national/nor...s/news-story/fc6da6ed9eb44ccf6594ad51daeeea18
Yea its basically like the German autobahn but rubbish, and with cows, and broken down Toyotas on the side of the road.
I have just returned from a month of driving across Europe in my own car which being correctly set up has the driver on the right of the car. At a 130 mph the unrestricted German autobahns felt serene and ordered when compared to driving at any speed in Luxembourg / Belgium.I have had race track days which pale in comparison to driving through these countries
