I recently looked into the work of August Sanders for my research but of course, being a watch person, I could not help but look at the wrists of the portrait photos he took. As you can imagine Sanders's focus was obviously not their wrist, so there aren't super clear shots of the watches, and also actually a surprising amount of people are not wearing anything on their wrist in the collection. I was able to find these pictures off the top of my head that had relatively good photos. There are some others but I forget which ones.
