    Hammered down at Arthur Johnsons approx £30K gbp with fees. Went to the room.

    After a few misses for scruffy watches at small auction houses, I think this went much higher than I expected. It looks good, just the damaged dial limits its appeal for me.
    The bracelet and crown give it the barn find feel, maybe that added to the appeal?

    Further to the MWF thread, my opinion is that the dial does not match the case/issue number, another has commented that the serial number does not match the case/issue number. might be a “bitsa” or just the product of MOD servicing.

    no extract with it.
