Auction lot international shipping

Dear OF,

Number of auction houses do not take care of packing and shipping of the lots themselves, how do you get this done at a reasonnable cost?

I already had to do it in France with a specialized company - it was expensive but acceptable.

Today I'm struggling finding a company who can do that from NYC to France - I had quotations above 1k$ for the whole service. For 200$ of merchandise value

At this price, I won't even have to ask myself if the tarrifs are about to change by the time of the travel

Am I undervaluating this service ?

Asked them for an invoice, there were not competitive. But I had businness with them in France - it's clearly worth it !
