One of the strangest fakes I've seen, assuming it isn't a "prototype" For a 720GBP opening bid though... what the hell???
The strangest part to me is the subdial spacing - typically this is just never right and the indices are shorter next to the subdials, but in this case they are the same length all the way around. Without seeing inside that case though I'm still going on this being some sort of fantasy fake.
At least the auction house isn't misleading you with title of lot. Unusual - yes, military style - in certain eyes ... yes , chronograph - yes and finally watch - ok you can have that as well .
Case is almost surely from a double pusher Lemania cal. 1872 Fleet Air Arm chrono, hence the fixed bars. Caseback from a cal. 861 Seamaster, perhaps? Dial is some kind of improvisation... X
