I know there are a couple of you guys out there. Box turned up on chrono24. Guessing they are relatively rare? Please post it with the goods if you get it... https://www.chrono24.com/universalgenve/partsaccessories-box--id5539157.htm
@styggpyggeno1 has one, not sure if he is into boxes for he's watches. ( considering the watch boxes he uses )
Just for the record, here is the box of my Polarouter ... different style and less elegant has the one above. What is interesting is the use of different logo / font for the "Universal Genève".
I've never really noticed before but the crew member fourth from the right in the familiar picture of the SAS crew below does seem to have one of the cream Polarouter boxes (pictured at the top of this thread) in his left hand. The colour looks to be correct and the lower corners of the box that protrude are quite distinctive.
Interesting! A couple of other observations: He is already wearing some other watch with a prominent bezel and apparently a leather strap; and the new watch does not really look like a Polarouter--I mean, I do not see bombe lugs, and the crystal seems to be popping up quite noticeably.
It's very hard to make out any details of the watch on his wrist as it seems to be obscured by his coat sleeve. The one in his right hand doesn't look like a Polarouter so perhaps that's his own watch and he's comparing it against his new Polarouter that is now on his wrist?
Two - perhaps three? - of the other pilots already have theirs strapped on, so you're probably right that the new one is already on. Fellow to the left is gazing at his...is that the hangtag still on?
Although I've only ever seen a handful of these, my understanding is that they are Polarouter boxes and not specifically SAS Polarouter boxes.
