Due to several n00bs posting inane repetitive topics, the Signal to Noise ratio here is leaning to the WUS side.

    SNR WUS vs Ω.png

Please refrain from posting immature WUSsie subject matter for the foreseeable future. That means none of the following thread subjects:

    1) Can I wear my Submariner in the _______________ (fill in hot tub, sauna, shower, pool, etc.)
    2) What watch = what car?
    3) If you could only have one watch for ______________ (fill in the Zombie Apocalypse, being stranded on a desert island, etc.) what would it be?
    4) I have $$$$, what should I buy?

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

More import consultations on Men's fashion will still be permitted.

e.g., " What shoes and belt go with this watch?"

So, ignoring stickies related questions are still okay?

And how about "Why is everyone so down on ( insert brand x)"

There's still plenty of scope in those alone

Buttless chaps... only for the weekend, or acceptable for the office?

So posts / pictures of scantily clad women represent thoughtful watch forum discussion content?::confused2::

I have recently posted some industry discussion threads on the OF, are those OK by you?

Are we allowed to discuss the relative merits of purchasing one watch model versus another, or should we PM you first to see if that will get past the OF censors?::bleh::

It really depends on which watch you are wearing? Speedmasters yes, Planet Oceans no.

If they're paired with cowboy boots, obviously just the weekend. If you carry them off with a nice pair of brown brogues, then it's more smart/casual and suitable for most office environments.

Anything with the word "Hublot" in it must be approved by the Mods first.

Grandfathers are grandfathered in as long as they are English and not French and not left to you by your Grandfather.

I use the H word as a derogatory adjective...so I suppose that is pre-approved anyway.

Yes as long as it is an appropriate adjective in the context of the discussion.

Admins might consider pre-fabricated thread titles to choose from in each subsection.

Assless chaps...which ironically are all chaps, as chaps with asses are pants, are not only accepted, but encouraged at all times.

No, but that's a slightly different matter and any n00b who posts a thread about not having permission to post in the Sales Forum gets all the guff they deserve.

See above - any n00b who posts "What's up with Bell & Ross?" gets what they deserve. Looks like Hublot rules might be changing though:

Keep an eye out for the forthcoming (and probably oft ignored) sticky.

If they're wearing the particular watch(es) that is/are being discussed? Absolutely!

I guess so. Don't recall reading them. Did you have any pictures of scantily clad women in those threads?

Sure, if they're similar watches in performance or style. For instance, "Milgauss versus AT 15,000 gauss" is fine. However, general "Rolex versus Omega" bullshit is NOT.

No PM to me is necessary if common sense is applied BEFORE posting. ;)
