...and my head hurts! Tons of cool watches! Tons of cool information! It was quite a bit for this rookie to absorb! Honorable OF member @250scr (Calvin) was able to get me in this show (a WWT Watch & Jewelry Show) held here in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio today. Many thanks to Calvin for the invitation and GTG at the show...good times! Mad Dog (l) and 250scr (r) sporting their Speedy Gonzales watches (Speedy Tuesday!) at the show today...
I like how you made sure to tell us you are on the left. Anyone who doesn't know what you look like by now is NOT any kind of regular visitor to this forum. Really - whatcha get?
Haa, He did have his dd app to find the nearest store and he was drinking a dd coffee. In his posts, what you see, is what you get for sure. Fun guy for sure.
I didn't purchase anything. I saw a few watches that I liked...a vintage Illinois Bunn Special, a modern Longines Legend Diver, a vintage Glycine Airman, a vintage Seiko 6309-7040 and a vintage Rolex Sub. LATE ENTRY: I also saw a vintage Omega Flightmaster that was pretty cool...first time seeing a Flightmaster in the metal for me.
I learned what a "bumper" is and what a "bubble back" is. LATE ENTRY: I also learned (or came to the conclusion) that I generally like tool watches with black dials.
Nice jacket, I have one just like it except it has some patches on it from some times I went on a big grey boat.
