Greetings! Just received a 20/18mm deployment clasp via eBay and I’m 90% certain it’s a fake. A. It’s much larger that advertised B. Very cheap feeling C. Noisy as hell, rickety for lack of a better term.

Here are 2 pics of it (black) next to the same part number clasp from Omega. Would Omega have 2 clasps of different sizes, finishes with the same part number?

    Appreciate the assistance!

    Pics not showing up...

That being said, how much did you pay? Less then $175 and I am 99.9% sure it is not genuine.

Well, now I'm perplexed...after digging some more I'm realizing that maybe both of these are fake? Not a 'dimple' to be seen near the OMEGA logo on either?

Those aren't just fakes, they're bad fakes. Also, Omega doesn't offer a black stainless steel clasp.

    Get your money back asap.

And the seller apologized profusely and will accept the return. Will update if that doesn't happen. Removing his name for now. Again I appreciate it!

The steel one is very fake... these are not plated parts... should be stainless all the way through.

The black one has a few obvious issues.

Why would you even pay $145 for it in the first place? It's cheaper or about the same price to buy a new sealed one directly from the Omega Boutique.

I'd be reporting this to eBay... the chances of the guy not knowing are slim to none...

Not only is it not Omega, it's not a deployment clasp.

    It's a deployant...

    Deployant...

Steel is fake, no question. The font is a giveaway.
