I am the proud new owner of a AT8500 anti-magnetic. I was lucky at the boutique i went to they were willing to switch out the bands, so I have the older band without the PCL. which i much prefer.

I will add more photos later, better ones. :)

    Congrats - looks great.

Mind if I ask which boutique you went to?

I inquired about the same thing and was told to buy on the leather strap and order the brushed bracelet separately since it would not make sense to own two bracelets and they couldn't swap it out.

Or just have the PCLs brushed out.

The one next to Breguet? That's where I first tried on the AT 8500. Got the Skyfall blue dial version on my wrist as I'm typing this.

The "skyfall" aqua terra is definitely one of my favorite watches, its so beautiful and classy. I was torn between the "Skyfall" AT and the new one.

Have the same watch from the same boutique. never thought about asking about the bracelet swap. I got used to it by now (see avatar) The NYC Boutique has truly an amazing service team. they also fixed the bezel spring on my 45.5 for free while I was waiting and mailed me the SS bracelet and rubber bracelet in a NY minute when asked to. I love that boutique. Also the AT master coaxial is IMO one of the best designs around. Simple and modern...although I am still looking a the Deville chronographs closely.

The most noticeable difference is the date surround. I like it - more "ooooo, shiny" to appeal to my magpie gene. :p

i love that boutique, they really are amazing. i didnt really think to ask either. i just mentioned that i was torn, but didnt really like the PCL so the salesman was like, well we can swap out the bracelets if thats a deal breaker. and while i did love the older AT, i figured that the only difference now is really the date window, which i can live without. getting the slightly newer movement, the 4yr warranty, the Antimagnetic features seemed worth it for the extra 500$. one of the best shopping experiences I've had. and my first new Omega. got the SMPc used for a steal(with box papers and receipt)

I was definitely partial to the date window of the previous AT, but not enough to sway my purchase.

forgive the terrible photos, first foray into watch photography. and first time using an extension tube for macro shots. also forgive that the watch could use a cleaning apparently

hehe thank you, I love this watch, i am largely neglecting my SMP ceramic now, surprisingly the GF wasn't really mad about me buying it, which is good, watch is cheaper than camera gear. Oh I wasn't afraid to get closer with the camera, have to hone my watch photoing skills, also the camera was just stupid heavy
