AT Rubber Strap Fit

I think I already know the answer to this but I picked up a rubber strap for my AT ref. 231.10.42.21.02.003 and I can't get it to fit. It's a black rubber strap ref. CVZ007493. I'm guessing my case doesn't have the correct lug hole alignment as the new cases the strap is made for. Has anyone had this happen and came up with a fix like curved spring bars?

Maybe you need curved spring bars.

I have a fake AT strap for my Seamaster and I used strait spring bars, but I had to use a bit of force to install and when I changed strap some time later the spring bar had disintegrated. Luckily it still held the watch in place.

@my beat rate You'll need very thin spring bars. I put this strap on an older Aqua Terra also. It was difficult to do but I eventually got it all to work.
