great photo! also amazing instrument! im planning on an epsilon one day. Ive pretty much always been a refractor user but it would be incredible to use something as fast as a 180 or 160.
Provided you are not in one of the countries they aren’t allowed to send to, and don’t mind risking not having a warranty, then Kyoei Osaka has really excellent prices on Takahashi scopes and accessories.

I just got an FC-100DC with TOE and TPL eyepieces from them for visual and the views are incredible. Even after shipping it was 40% cheaper than if I bought it from a European shop.

That is a trip that would need a lot of self restraint! Particularly with the Yen as weak as it is at the moment.

It was just a nod to what you guys do. I copy and pasted I think it was the James Webb but it might have been a Hubble. I had one sent to me that I believe the calculated 800 billion solar systems are doing their thing in the pic. It looked almost rounded off on the ends and had a dislike shape.

My buddy does some of these photos but mostly he just sends me cool pics from US or European telescopes as he’s really into it. Was a hot shot flyer in the air force but I think they found something wrong with his eyes and he was grounded. He went on a sad yet impressive drinking spree.

I dropped him off at a rehab years back he got his stuff together now doing better. He working on designs of those “flying cars”. I think the entry level is 400k.

But anyway I’ve always been fascinated with space. I was listening to a video podcast, I think that’s what they are called. They had some serious guests who were dropping the latest UFO evidence. Bill maher said it’s getting to the point where those who don’t believe in alien life are going to be the ones with Tim foil hats.

Anyway it’s just so mindblowing we are spinning around on this rock perfectly placed for our survival and we kill each other for a trifle.

Well anyway sorry about that ramble. I shouldn’t dominate the rap Jack if I got nothing new to say.

Peace.

We’re all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
