Hanging out with Dave Scott, 7th man to walk on the Moon, at Spacefest VII 2016. Scott was Commander of Apollo 15 and flew on Gemini 8 and Apollo 9. I showed Dave my Omega Speedmaster Apollo 15 40th Anniversary watch and he instantly loved it. He then showed me his Omega Speedmaster Apollo 15 35th that his wife bought for him. I asked him if he would wear my watch and he said lets trade watches for the photo. I was super excited. I am wearing Dave Scott's personal Omega Speedmaster!!!! I then paid his fee and he gladly signed the 40th anniversary watch box. One of the nicest guys to spend time with. ‍

No, Dave did not ask me if I was going to eBay it. I was at another space related event for JPL at the Pasadena Convention Center years ago for one of the JPL rovers when it landed on Mars. They had sci-fi author Ray Bradbury, actors Robert Picardo and John Rhys-Davies. I was busy getting autographs from all 3 of these people. I did have several James Bond posters for John Rhys-Davies to sign since he was General Pushkin in the Living Daylights movie. He said "How soon till I see these posters on eBay?" Everyone laughed including me and then I told them that they were staying with me.

That is a great meeting, you have one of the coolest speedys ever made with the absolute coolest case back ever produced and I know because I own one too.
