I own a few 1/6 Dragon and Hobby Master Apollo Astronauts (some rare ones).
DID Corp (Dragon in Dreams) have just brought out a new Apollo 11 crew set and I pulled the trigger on a Buzz Aldrin figure (or playing with Dolls again as my better half likes to say :0).
Anyway I have been pleased with the quality and level of detail – which even includes PLSS internals.
Not sure if / when I will fully unbox it – Gene Cernan is looking over my shoulder in the home office currently + I have that picture on the wall. It was ‘that picture’ and ‘that’ missing watch which got me into this whole crazy Omega world.

I bought this model from Modellers Loft in the UK – always great service from them.

I agree, they are super cool. What is it with this obsession we have with collecting things that for the most part never see the light of day.

The wife unit [MacGyverette] has an action figure [IT’S NOT A DOLL!] that sees the light of day every day. 😁

I like that they pay this much attention to the details.
And yet....

I wonder if the miniature Speedmaster and strap can be removed and installed in the correct orientation.

I keep saying I will curate and display some items when I retire..... But I recall finding boxes of stuff after my Father died from his various hobbies.... so I guess it is just making the time / gets a bit manyana

WOW.

PS: Sorry I know this was a too short post, but it's the only thing in my mind when I saw those pictures.
