Would anyone be able help identify this piece. It was purchased new in 1976. It appears to be manufactured in 73-74.
Would it be gold

open it up and look for markings on the case back.



Certainly golden in color. Could be plated, filled or solid.

I have the numbers and did contact Onega didn’t have many luck. I thought maybe someone had a similar piece. A ladies cocktail watch. Manual. Action.

Stainless steel back tells me not solid gold alloy, more likely heavy gold plate. Little or no market for ladies watches, Omega, or others.

The plan is to service the watch and add it to my wife’s collection. Not interested in reselling. I didn’t pay alot for it however interested in if it was on the upper end or mid level offering.

I even think the box’s value could exceed the watch’s value. It looks like one of those plastic woodgrain boxes that are seen with Speedmasters from the 1970’s.
