Its a straight writing, with Asprey written on the back. The dial is over printed - probably by Asprey? It seems documented, and comes with an Asprey box with a crest. I have never found the Rolex watches with Middle East painted dials attractive, and to be honest I am not sure I like looking at this. Of course it is rare, and it has the Asprey mark on the back. Another watch I will not be bidding on, but I do understand why people would. Anyone here a buyer?
Yeah saw this and was initially quite excited. Then thought to myself... why? Boiling it down its not the best looking 69 in the world and I have no connection to its background. The box is also decaying. So no... me neither
Personally not into additive text on dials, no matter how funky the font... Edit : might be tempted by ‘hello kitty’ though...
I don’t mind the dial addition but shame about the polished lugs. Really surprised at the hammer price.
