    Oh, don't forget to have Noah test the water resistance.

    Okay, if we're going the comic book superhero route, maybe Aquaman should test the water resistance?????

    If it's real it probably has 50m water resistance which, pretty much, means 0 water resistance if you want to keep it safe... ::book::

    50 meters means 50 meters how hard is that to work out. That's how ratings work
    50 = 50m
    100 = 100m
    200 = 200m
    Unless you would like to tell us how it really works like everyone else that has problems believing how this simple process works.

    sounds simple , always thought you can swim 50meters until it starts flooding the watch :cautious: ::facepalm1::

    No wonder there are people that went swimming with their 30m/50m water "resistant" watches and then bad things ended up happening...

    I can find 30 different charts that contradict the above but thought a Omega one would be better

    I've never seen a 30m deep raindrop. Never washed my car under 50m of water either.

    The infographic above wasn't made very well as it should have separated 30m and 50m from 100m... If you want to go swim with a watch that is 30m/50m WR then be my guest.

    Also, keep in mind that not all brands have the same quality control as Omega. Even so, I wouldn't swim with anything below 200m that doesn't have a screw down crown and case back but maybe that's just me... :)

    what if it's a a tarn? (that is lake on a mountain) thats 200m deep but at surface 300m above sea level
    then presumably your depth is -100m so its ok for scuba diving even for a 50m watch?

    it would be shit if you lived at the bottom of a ravine or valley and it rained.

    We just had this discussion in the "Swimming with a Speedmaster" thread. The best quote in there, from Archer, was this one - and I put the key sentence in bold:

    image.jpeg No screw down crown and pretty sure no screw down case back, yet it meets iso standards for a dive watch.

    I'm due to order more WUS repellent. We could chip in, maybe do a group buy with more members, and get a quantity discount. Probably save on shipping too!
