What's your opinions on this? It all looks a bit new to me, maybe it had a factory redial during a service at some point and just been polished up... I'm still trying to learn about this minefield before i make a purchase, so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
I am far from calling my self an expert but I do not see anything wrong on this one. What makes you think that there is something wrong? The dial is not "pie-pan" but not all dials were AFAIK. Btw. I would oppose on using a "factory redial" term. I sincerely doubt that Omega (or any other factory) makes a redial. They simply change the dial. They do not paint them all over again, IMHO.
The photos are of a real watch and bracelet that exist somewhere. Looks really good to me. (at 6:50 in the AM as I sip my first coffee). Case is polished but it looks OK. Is this on eBay? What's the seller's feedback?
All correct dome dial Connie- just lugs are a bit over polished Check out Desmonds site on how to spot fakes
Connies came in dome dials and pie-pans I have 2 dome dial 168.005s a cal 561 and a cal 564 -both correct the one you posted isn't perfect (but not too bad either) but it is correct
Looks OK to me if anything the case looks to be slightly polished . Mines says hello .photos are from the dealer that sold us the watch .
As the previous answers, not fake/franken, just somewhat overpolished. Correct crown, bracelet... The seconds hand is rather patinated, though
Ok thanks for the information (My dial is creepy but unfortunately i like too much my watch so i keep it as is!)
Bracelet is very over-polished. Nothing that couldn't be corrected with some masking tape and a satin wheel.
