    Or, in classic Rocky & Bullwinkle alternate title fashion:

    F::censored:: YOU 2016!!!!!

    Debbie Reynolds just died, one short day after her daughter Carrie Fisher passed. RIP both of you. :(

    I HATE THIS YEAR!

    If that isn't dying of a broken heart, I don't know what is.

    A strange, but unique, fund raiser.

    No married couple is better suited to protecting somebody from death than me & my wife. She's a nurse with trauma, transplant, and emergency experience, and I'm verrrry handy with select "items" indigenous to NJ. Death would have to show up himself, with sickle in hand, to beat a one - two punch like us.

    As a matter of fact, if one more tragedy happens in the next 3 days, I'm personally gonna visit Mr. 2016 with my favorite bat, dragging Death behind me by the leg if necessary, and lay him to rest early. ;) :p

    Condolences. That happened to our family too, albeit in the opposite order, several years ago. Make you kind of numb.

    The first time I read about someone dying of a broken heart was King Lear and I remember not really believing it at the time, though I later realized that it is unfortunately possible...terribly sad.

    2016. Not enough time to listen to all the obituaries.

    Of course, it is sad when someone dies who accompanied you a good part of your life. May it be as an actor, musician, artist or whatever.
    Maybe it is our believe that these "heroes" will live forever. But at the end they are ordinary humans, as vulnerable as all of us.
    I am not saying that I wasn't shocked to hear from their passing. But sometimes I am surprised and outraged that the death of a single person draws more attention than all the poor souls who died because of abuse, war, crime, malnourishment.....

    Just my 2 cents.....
