Hi All

After what seems like a forever wait my ARTEM Sailcloth strap is due for delivery today.
Went for the Black Strap with Grey Stitching on an RM Clasp with quick release spring bars...

I'm just itching to get it on to my Planet Ocean
Hopefully Pics to follow !

I dont like the Arten Sailcloth straps. With the PIN buckle, the outer part of the strap was breaking very easy after some weeks in the place were there strap folds into the buckle..

The outer part is just plastic made to look like textile.

Hopefully you have a better experience.

Have you contacted Artem and voiced your grievances? Maybe you got a defective strap? I have an Artem loopless on a deployant, different strap I know but it's very well made with no sign of degradation.

I鈥檝e had a pin-buckle version for at least two years and have had no issues with it. This does sound like a single defective strap and I think Artem would have made it right if contacted about it.

I also have a pin buckle artem strap, it doesn't see a ton of use but I don't have any complaints about the quality.

I can't wait to see the pictures. I've done some searching for strap options after pickup up my Planet Ocean.

Same. Picked up a nice navy blue to go with the AT 41 I then owned.

Kept the strap. It's a great fit for several watches I own, including a MM300.

Does tend to retain its shape so IMO pairs well with a sturdier watch. Should be a great match for a PO.

GRRRR ....
After a visit to my AD yesterday where they said they would remove the original bracelet and drop it on it turns out they never had the correct size tool which is jolly annoying.
Plan B ....
Also I got the 21 mm strap (For my case which is shown as 21 mm) however offering it up it initially seems that a 22mm strap might have provided a better fit...? Should there be a little play between a strap and the case..

The Artem might settle a bit and since I have a range of watches and straps between 21-22mm, I occasionally use the slimmer straps (I know) and honestly don't sweat the odd flash of springbar. Don't think you can return the Artems so would give it a shot at least.
