This arrived today. Was actually looking for the driver version, but could not resist this one. Came with 1120/116 Mesh and a Corfam Omega racing strap And i had a couple of extra Omega racing straps Ref. 146.009 Cal. 920 1969
Beautiful photos of a great looking watch. Congratulations! I've only recently researched these a bit. I'm also considering one, but I'm afraid after wearing 40mm + watches for so long, the 35mm size of this one may seem too small. And the jumbo models are too pricey for me to "experiment" with. Someday...
My first omega that i bought earlier this year was a geneve from '72, i had it serviced by Al at archerwatches and he did a fantastic job, it wasn't a chronostop though.. It wears a "little" small on the wrist but i find it's a really nice dress watch. Since i inherited my dads speedmaster i've put it up for sale though, just doesnt get enough wrist time! (pun fully intended)
What a great vintage omega and pictures are fantastic. 1969 was a great year for omega .... I would love one of these watches hope you enjoy wearing it .
Depends on which version (driver/non, date/non), condition, which strap it has, which dial it has, and whether it's been recently serviced by someone legit, or not. eBay sale values go anywhere from £250 for a non runner, to £1500 for a NOS example last November.
Love the coroform rally style strap on it! Don't know if I was just lucky but I picked a NOS one on leather strap. Wax on caseback, price tag still on strap for ~ $800 including buyers premium. It's the first time I've ever bought a NOS piece and have now learned my lesson as I can't bring myself to wear it. I'll have to find one I can wear without feeling guilty.
Wonderful pictures of a wonderful watch; would love to get one myself someday. And what a terrific bonus getting it in that condition on that increasingly hard-to-come-by bracelet... (not to mention having all those straps!)
