It is almost because of the lume color (became inactive) that the dial has been changed, right?

Is it a replacement dial or have they resumed it somehow?

I must admit that I like the 'before' picture better. The aged dial adds character to the watch.
    Just my two cents.....

Very keen of you to hold onto that original dial... so many times you hear of old time collectors having the dial replaced & not thinking twice about it. Dial is the most value part of any wrist watch! Polish seems to be very well done, no course texture to lugs!

    Best,

    Thomas

I like it, do prefer the after photo. Prefer a watch to be fresh unless its 20 odd years old +. What year is this out of interest?

All good they let you keep the dial.

I think the redial is the correct decision. But selling it along with the old dial would add a lot to the value. Here's my Seamaster. Just for the hell of it. [IMG]

Give the market for solid gold chrongraphs (let alone dive chronographs), its likely that a buyer would rather have the new dial.

This might take a little while to move... and I could see it heading to Asia.
