Beautiful watch, early serial 145.022-69? I find the brown dials very attractive, although I sometimes wonder if the price premium for them is becoming a bit excessive.
I must admit, at first I was afraid to click, thinking it might be spam. But, things turned out quit nicely, nice watches
I actually bought this one with a price reduction, due to the fact that the dial was originally black
296098XX. I paid $7k exactly. How bad did I go over reasonable market value? Regardless, I love the watch. Just need to hang on to it for a while I suppose to realize what I put into it...which is ok by me
Hold on to it for a year or two and you'll be patting yourself on the back for the deal you got. Tropical Speedys are exploding.
and there's a nice looking brown dial -69 right here on these pages (which i am not affiliated with in anyway), right @watchcollect?
I believe a 145.022-69 tropical dial sold for something like $11,875 in the recent Speedmaster auction!
@oddboy. Thanks! I have two and figured what the hell,,,, and let someone else enjoy it. This is one is my keeper. Bought it from the original owners widow.
