I know I have recently sold a few watches and still have some for sale so I am definitely in between but consider myself more (some would say much more) a hoarder than a flipper.

I'm considering selling everything and go for 2 watches only... Yeah nuts !!!! [IMG]

    And the winner are.... a 1803 + a 13ZN....

    Yes, no Omega [IMG] ....

So question: what am I ?!? [IMG] .... and subsidiary question: am I going to be banned for life ??? [IMG]

started out as a flipper just to try out as many styles, cases, sizes, complications, price ranges, etc. as I could. now days I have slowed down and have 2 in the permanent collection and a couple that are part of the visiting/on loan collection. straps, however, I seem to be a hoarder. need to work on that, I guess

Full of great intentions, most never materialise so guilty as charged - A hoarder.

A hoarder of my core collection and certain selected other pieces, and a very slow-paced flipper otherwise.

I was mostly an obsessive compulsive hoarder at the beginning. Now I've managed to focus my attentions to a select few 'desired' pieces..Flipped a few to further my education..

Definitely more of a hoarder, as flipping doesn't appeal greatly. A bit of flipping here and there is probably going to be inevitable as the collection gets more focused though...

...and as costs rise. That's my main impetus - the need for more watch (or watch repair) money

I think I'd be quantified as a flipper if we only have a choice between that and a hoarder. However, I'm actually more of a seeker. Like RM Mike above mentioned, trying a lot of watches in my early days so I could refine my tastes, and gradually finding the keepers.

Don't worry, we like your crazy cartoon pictures illustrating your posts. You can hang out in the Longines Forum with me, Gavin, LouS, and a few others. ;)

So how do I get you to move faster flipping that wonderful 22L to me? :p You've been moving at a galactic pace and I need you to move one gear up to glacial.

Definitely a hoarder and not a flipper. I can't bring myself to sell off any of my babies.

Definitely a hoarder! Help - I am out of money and the month still lasts so long... :(

And even in this situation I can not decide to sell any of my babies...

For the record, it's the 1st of the month. I'd say you have a problem.:p

    Erich,
Surely a stealth April Fool's statement... (the one about being out of money not the decision not to sell)

I am a huge flipper. I have pieces that last a week, pieces that last a month and pieces that last longer, but they all seem to move on eventually. The only piece I have that I dont think I will ever flip is my 320 chrono.
