While looking for a case ref. # of a watch I bought (since I can't open it) I have come across a watch that seems IDENTICAL to the one I own, or am I missing something?:

Well certainly Omega produced more than one watch per reference model, so yeah your watch is pretty much identical to second one. If your serial number is identical you should start to worry.....

 

Second watch has correct crown and no scratch on crystal.
