These have recently popped up. I bought one of these, so I have one in hand. While it lacks the extreme attention to detail and sharpness that I see in my original cases, it does seem authentic. Is there enough interest/value in Memomatics to counterfeit these cases?. Looks identical to my 1969 .072, but your 1st photo you posted isnt that great to be honest, so cant see edges on the case sides etc The Seamaster on the case back is /was not a deep engraving either, so that matches too Mine says hi!
I have three original Memomatics. There are numerous differences, like the caseback, that I can see. Recently, I posted a similar question about a Speedmaster case the same seller was selling and the consensus was that the case was a real Speedmaster case, possibly a service case. Is this case possibly a service case?
service case flight master style and the OEM case (at least this is the one that came to me) and for @Sherbie
I am hopeful that, at this point no one has said "ooh yah, that's one of those Asian counterfeit cases".
