The fact tha someone gave them to you free, for watches allegedly costing thousands of dollars, is generally a clue.

 

It was more of a hand me down from a family member...

Well spotted! Could actually be Seamaetei.

 

Indeed it could. Producing a fake, even of very low quality, must be a large amount of work. It seems like spelling should be the easiest part of getting everything needed for the operation set up.

Could be ok paperweights.

 

These watches remind of those scam calls that I get allegedly from IRS or Justice agents who always have heavy Indian or Bangladesh accents yet identify themselves as Special Agent Tom Smith or Steve Jones.

 

Or, "I am calling from the Service Department."

 

Scambaiter on youtube has one up now where they actually get the cops to raid.
