Random heavily cropped photos are never a good sign.

Its def a scam. I reached out to him. He said he had a buy it nkw price. Told me to do it through paypal only. I asked him for his watsapp. He sent me a number. I wrote him a message asking if i can pay extra and just do it theough ebay or i have friends in lima and theyll give him cash in hand. He read the message but still no response.

It's a shame. I've recently bought two watches from South America and had no problems whatsoever. One was from Peru.
These people give the legit sellers a bad name. On the other hand it does put people off buying there, helping to keep the prices down.

There’s always bidders too on these, I really hope they’re just shills but I’ve heard privately from multiple victims over the years of both the eBay ones and watch forum South American 321 listings.

Yes unfortunately listings like this are just too tempting for some people to see the red flags.:(

If you pay by paypal they cant do anything anyway right? Coz paypal refunds you if anything happens or am I missing something?

It depends. In theory, yes. But who wants to risk it and go through all the trouble with the contesting process.

Given that PP refunds even if package was delivered as long as you ask I feel like it cant work, but obviously I wouldnt risk it just feels like PP always sides with buyer so cant see the scam working unless buyer wires the money, but maybe I am missing something.

Part of the scam is often to lure you to pay outside of Ebay or paypal. Just dont do it. Even if you get your money back, the scanner often wins, so they will keep doing it and services will continue to get more expensive .
