    Title says it all. Are the 145.012 and 145.022 Case backs the same except for the engraving? Can I use the 145.012 case back on a 145.022 case with an 861 movement?

    If it's anything like Seamaster chronographs - yes, you can interchange them. The different digit referred to the caliber 321 or 861 inside. Wait for more informed opinions from the Speedy guys though.

    yes you can, from experience.

    Also I once bought a 145.022 with a 105.012 back on it. (Result!)

    Thank gentleman. I was just not sure since I think the back and the cover hold the movement in place and didn't know if there was a difference in thickness between the 321 and 861.
