    Hi,

I just realized that for my 145.022-69 a 1171 with 633 end links is not original, so I need to sell it and get a period correct one.

You rarely see 1171 + 633 endlinks on the OF Watch Parts and Accessories For Sale. What is the market value of those bracelets?

These come for sale quite regularly. If you search 1171 in part and accessories you'll find plenty of sales. I've sold a few myself.

eBay has a few 1171's (no end links) for roughly $400--$600.

I think the early 1970's, 1171/633, service bracelet that my Dad had fitted to my 105.012-65 (to replace the broken original flat link bracelet ) is the type you are looking for??? It has the correct vintage 633 end links and trapezoid shaped logo.

EDIT: (I have just learned that the statement I made above is total bollocks ::shy::.... my apologies for misleading you. I appear to be a year or two out with the introduction of the 1171/633)

    Looks nice though? :)

THe trapezoid logo means that your band is not original as far as I know :)

Not original to a 105.012 but @nonuffinkbloke knows this.

It is an original 70's bracelet.

The embossed one like yours is just slightly earlier but it doesn't really command a significant premium.

So a 1171 with 633 end links can be period correct to a 145.022 from 69 (with don bezel)?

    That's what I tought. So this statement is incorrect . On a 145.022 I need a 1039

No, it depends on when the 145.022 was sold. Look at the chart. Even some later 145.022-69 watches were probably sold with 1171 bracelets. But since yours has a DON bezel, it is probably a relatively early 145.022-69. If you have an extract, that would help, or at least post the first few digits of the serial number.

The chart also suggests that a 1116 could be ok. And I have also seen enough 145.022-69 watches with 1175 bracelets that I suspect they could also be original, but that is just speculation.

What part of it do you think is incorrect?

Edit - ah, the part about an 1171 being the droid you’re looking for? I think that is incorrect.

I don’t actually think an 1171 is correct for any 145.022-69. A 1039, 1175 or 1116 seems to be the only ones I’ve seen on examples that seemed original.
Personally I don’t think the 1171 appeared until the 145.022-71.

No. I stand corrected. The chart compiled by @mstanga shows the 1171/633 being used from the early 1970's.::shy::

Yours is the very earliest type of 1171 bracelet and has been seen quite a few times on 145.022-69, I would speculate that it could be original to your watch.

I bought the 1171 later thinking that it was original to the watch.

    Hi all,

Judging by MWO, an early 1171 would be possible this particular 145.022-69 as:

    - The 1171 production started in 1970, and;
    - The 1171 is listed, together with 1039 and 1116 as bracelets that could come with this pre-moon 145.022

Now taking into account the early clasp type shown here (Relief Logo unstead of Bas-relief), I think it’s a plausible combination.

That said, wouldn’t personal (esthetic or comfort) taste prevail over ‘research’? ;)

So, @Walviskroket, the choice is still entirely yours... ;)

I just wanted to make sure that at one point the watch is 100% original. Aesthetically I want a 1450 at one point :)
